1. Overview
Givanta provides software that helps organisations operate in-person donation kiosks. This policy explains how information is handled when an organisation uses the Givanta app, website and related cloud services.
2. Information we may collect
We may process organisation account information, administrator contact details, device identifiers, app configuration, subscription and entitlement status, technical logs, Square merchant and location identifiers, and support communications.
3. Payment information
Card payments are processed by Square. Givanta does not store full card numbers or card security codes and does not hold donated funds. Square handles payment information under its own privacy terms.
4. Apple subscriptions
Subscriptions purchased through the app are processed by Apple. We may receive transaction identifiers, product identifiers, subscription status and signed server notifications needed to provide and enforce the purchased service. We do not receive full Apple payment-card details.
5. How information is used
Information is used to operate and secure the service, verify active device licences, connect authorised Square accounts, provide support, diagnose faults, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations and improve reliability.
6. Disclosure
Information may be shared with service providers that are necessary to operate Givanta, including Apple, Square and cloud infrastructure providers. We do not sell personal information or donor data.
7. Data retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably required for service operation, support, security, accounting and legal obligations. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Organisation responsibilities
Each organisation controls how its kiosk is configured and is responsible for any notices, consent or privacy obligations relating to information it independently collects from donors or administrators.
9. Access, correction and enquiries
For privacy questions or requests, contact support@givanta.com.au. We may need to verify your identity or authority to act for an organisation before responding.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as Givanta evolves. The current version will be published on this page with an updated date.
